Mission Statement

Thomas Gregg Elementary Staff and Students believe that all children have the capability and the right to learn. Staff and students will work and learn in classrooms that provide "Best Educational Practices" in teaching, learning, and student engagements. Our staff will continuously strive to create a positive learning environment in which all students are encouraged to prepare themselves academically and socially for a multicultural, technological, and global society.

We believe:

  • Reading and writing are the foundation of academic success.

  • Students have a right to learn through reading.

  • All students have the capability and the need to be literate citizens.

  • It is the responsibility of all staff to ensure literacy for all students.
